Tray-dec design software offers different loading configurations to be analysed in construction and composite action. All calculations are based on AS/NZS 2327:2017. An additional input method for fire safety rating has been included in accordance with BS-5950-8.
To use, simply enter the required spans and loads and adjust floor parameters to design the floor to meet the code for each Tray-dec profile. Users can design slabs in single, double / multi-span and cantilever configurations. Parameters such as additional point loads, reinforcing steel and fire resistance rating can be taken into account. The calculations run automatically on a single screen and clearly indicate where the structural capabilities are exceeded. Longitudinal shear strength values have been derived from the standard testing procedures carried out to AS/NZS 2327 appendix H.
Tray-dec design software offers different loading configurations to be analysed in construction and composite action.
All results of the structural, elements of this software has taken AS/NZS 2327:2017 into consideration. An additional input method of fire safety rating has been included in accordance with BS-5950-8.
To use, simply enter floor design parameters to determine what spans will be suitable for the design. Users are given the ability to change slab depth, propping conditions, etc.
The software can be used to design slabs in single, double/multi-span and cantilever orientations. Negative and fire reinforcement can be adjusted to suit building requirements.
Results are calculated by equations from AS/NZS 2327 and confirmed with results derived from Tray-dec testing held at AUT in August 2019.
